It was beautiful and sunny, with a nice breeze, absolutely perfect fishing weather. The fish finder was lit up today, but for some reason not everyone below wanted to eat. Perhaps it is because the water is still a little cold, or maybe some are on a diet. There were some full figured hungry Grunts and Sea Bass, and a few Gag Grouper; some of which snapped anglers lines on the rocks as they fled the boat. A Gulf Flounder and some Sand Perch also made their way aboard. I always say that when women or children are on the boat they almost always out fish the men, and today my theory proved correct again. Of course everyone had fun, but the kids did just a bit better.
