Captain Rich and the crew were happy to see the winds that plagued the weekend trip had subsided and enjoyed a nice cruise out to the fishing grounds. The 1st night saw a crazy good Mangrove and Vermilion Snapper bite, some Gag and Red Grouper and Porgies. The daytime catching was tough with our anglers picking a Gag and Red here and there, some Lane Snapper and tossing back bunches of Red Snapper. As the sun set a couple of nice Blackfin Tuna’s were picked as well as slob Gags, more Red and Scamp Grouper, some AJ’s were tossed back and our anglers limited out on Snapper in the wee hours of the morning. Other than the tough daytime bite a very productive, cooler filling trip!
