Captains James and Jerry report that although the ride out was a bit bumpy the seas laid down nicely to give our anglers a picture perfect weather weekend. The first night started off pretty good with a solid Mango bite and some nice sized fish. Along with a bunch of other miscellaneous fish, the Blackfin Tuna bite was on fire with our anglers wrangling in 20 or more. At daybreak they headed offshore to the deeper water of the Golden Grounds where things started off a little slow with some Porgies and then a nice pick of Tilefish,  Yellowedge and Scamp Grouper. At sunset they made their way back to the Elbow where things picked up quickly with even more whopper Mango’s, Tuna’s Porgies and B-liners and of course throwback Gag groupers. A few lucky fishermen also boated some nice African pompano. Everyone left with very full coolers and smiles on their faces.
