Capt.’s Mitch and James reported nice weather and calm seas at the start of the trip but wind and rain picked up making for rough fishing conditions and a bumpy ride back. Fishing started out with some nice Gag Grouper before the sun went down and good Mango Snapper action after dark sprinkled with some Porgies and Vermillion Snapper, several Red and Scamp Grouper, and a few Yellowtail Snapper Saturday night into Sunday morning.  Anglers also found there was no shortage of out-of-season Red Snapper to be released until next summer. The jackpot winning fish were Caleb Pettit’s Mango Snapper and Richard Moore’s Gag Grouper.

Fish On!!
