Captains Mitch and James report rough seas while travelling but it laid down nice for the fishing, especially during the day on Saturday. The first night and early morning saw a nice steady pick of Mangrove and Vermillion Snapper with the lone appearance of one well sized Red Grouper. The daytime fishing saw a steady pick of Red, Scamp and Gag Grouper, forbidden Amberjack’s and Red Snapper and a handful of Kingfish with one weighing in at a whopping almost 40lbs. The trip finished off with more porgy’s, mango ‘s and beeliner’s literally jumping in the boat!
Mike O’s Mango Snapper and Mike C’s Gag Grouper were the jackpot winners.
